Within the regenerative (RTO) and catalytic thermal temperatures may operate from 600F to
2
200F continuosly. Therefore  depending on the application the thickness, type and density of
the ceramic fiber modules must be evaluated inorder to
protect the oxidation equipment. On
most of our thermal oxidizer applications w
e use a minimum of 12lb. density, 8" thick folded high
temperature
ceramic fiber material with operating temperatures of 2300F as viewed in the photo
to the left.


When destroying halogenated hydrocarbons the combustion chamber temperatures rise
s to
between 1800-2300F. These higher temperatures and extended retention times are required to
break apart the complex molecular
halogen chemical bonds. Since higher operating
temperatures are required h
igher density ceramic fiber is required.

Our
ReGen Series & ReCat Series O2 analysis and dual burner system is designed to
minimize
carbon monoxide and NOx formation. This unique O2 system allows the thermal
oxidizer systems to operate VOC control with high levels without the
use of any burner fuel
source
